Katie Hauf

Katie Hauf began dance at the age of three at White Marsh Rec. Council. There she performed lead roles in ballets such as Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, The Nutcracker, The Wizard of Oz, and Giselle. Katie moved to White Marsh Ballet Academy when they opened their doors in the fall of 1997. She was a Senior Dance Member and Rehearsal Assistant with the dance company in residence, The Baltimore Dance Ensemble, from 1998-2003. Her repertoire with BDE includes, Swan Lake, Seasons, and Snow Queen and Dew Drop from The Nutcracker to name a few. Katie began teaching for WMBA in 2000. She has also guest choreographed Cirque for both BDE and WMBA Dance Company. Katie attended Goucher College where she obtained her bachelors degree in Dance and Elementary Education in 2003. She earned her Master Degree in Education in 2021 through College of Notre Dame and Towson University. As the Teacher Coordinator for WMBA, she will mentor new teachers and assist them throughout the year.
