Katlin Magruther

Katlin Magruther began her dance training at a recreational dance facility at a young age, there she trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and pointe. Katlin then attended The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) performing with their dance company in Spring 2017 and Fall 2018. She earned her Associates degree in dance from CCBC in 2018, from there she studied at University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) and earned her Bachelors of Arts in Dance and a K-12 dance education certificate in Spring 2020. For her efforts and success Katlin was awarded the UMBC Summer Dance Research Scholarship in 2018 and the UMBC Teacher Education Scholarship in 2018 and 2019. Katlin is experienced in ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary dance forms. She was selected as an intern for the Paul Taylor American Modern Dance Summer Intensive—Baltimore, Md 2019 and has taught for numerous studios in the Baltimore area. Katlin is currently a dance teacher in the BCPS, and is excited to begin her journey with White Marsh Ballet Academy!
